The most dangerous systems are built by people who believe they are necessary.
The Derek Ryan series follows a former Navy SEAL turned field director for Orion, a private organization that handles crises too sensitive, too fast-moving, or too politically inconvenient for official channels to touch. Each book pulls at a thread that connects back to Helios — a decades-old architecture of quiet, unaccountable power — and to the personal cost Derek pays chasing it.
